Earth-like Harvest are not valuable because of the low the value of Food. Use what Food you have to build Cities and make 1 to 2 of the appropriate Improvements. Planets with complementary Biomes are particularly valuable (Volcanic Blaze, Arid Structure, and Icy Knowledge). The doubled resource rewards from Purity gets you an early start. Hutama's +1 influence translates to turns saved. In my experience, the best leader is Hutama and the best affinity is Purity.
